Whimsical Boho & Relaxed Norfolk Beach Wedding

Lindsay and David are joining us with their Norfolk beach wedding held at Titchwell Manor in the summer. Their day truly was a whimsical dream with boho decor, sensational flowers and gorgeous attire all around.
Being vegan, Lindsay and David ensured their day was plant-based and their adorable pet dog Olive was in attendance too. So cute! From the sunset portraits to the dusky pink wedding decorations, I have a funny feeling you are going to fall head over heels for their special celebrations in Norfolk.

Norfolk Beach Wedding
The Proposal
Since adopting our beloved dog, Olive, we have visited the North Norfolk coast several times a year.
On the 20th September 2019 at sunset on Holme-next-the-Sea beach, David asked Lindsay to be his wife and of course Lindsay awkwardly laughed and said yes.
The Vision
We always envisaged our wedding to be a laid-back affair, it was our goal to celebrate our love with our friends and family and just have a big party! As Norfolk isn’t local to any of our friends or family, we wanted to make the most out of the celebrations so made this into a weekend celebration.
Both of us are vegan so it was also important to us that our wedding was plant-based. It was also very important that our dog, Olive, was present at the ceremony (we just didn’t expect her to start howling through the ceremony).
Ultimately we wanted people to have fun, party, make new friends, enjoy good food, booze and music and explore a part of the UK we love so much.

I never saw myself in a big white dress, I was searching the internet for months before I came across Lillian West, her dresses were designed to be effortlessly elegant and relaxed which is exactly what I was after. When I tried THE dress on, after trying on numerous ones, I knew it was the one!
Suit
Noble Fox
Phil MD @ Noble Fox has been my tailor for my work suits for nearly 10 years, so it was an easy choice when deciding who was going to help create the wedding suits. I wanted to make sure everyone felt comfortable and confident on the day and as soon as Phil showed me the blue, I just knew it would look great and stand out in the pictures.
The shawl lapel waistcoats looked great and really pulled the suit together.
The Ceremony & Music
We both agreed from the start that we would love an outdoor wedding, and luckily enough this was possible.
The ceremony was in the walled garden at Titchwell and looked absolutely stunning thanks to Little Lending Co and Floral Sistas. We had our band Truly Medley Deeply perform an acoustic set in the garden which was amazing!

We chose muted and pastel colours with lots of greenery. Our dog is called Olive so of course, needed sprigs of olive incorporated in the flowers, they were also used on the table settings.
The Honeymoon
We absolutely love the North Norfolk coast, so we hired a house and spent 2 weeks with our dog going for long walks and relaxing on the beach and of course going to the local pubs!
Memorable Moments
- My (Lindsay) Dad seeing me in my dress for the first time and walking me down the aisle whilst making me laugh!
- We hired Little Lending Co and Floral Sistas as a collaboration, when seeing how they set up the ceremony and the tables for the first time it was amazing and completely breath-taking.
- Of course, seeing Lindsay in her dress for the first time not only settled my nerves, but was so special. I now know what people mean when they say someone took their breath away!
- Being stood together looking at everyone in the garden post ceremony having fun, chatting, kids playing it was special knowing we had made this happen!
- We also want to say a huge thanks to our photographer, Georgia and our videographer, Mike, for convincing us to go to the beach at sunset for pictures. They are absolutely incredible and like something out of a film!
Advice For Other Couples
Enjoy every minute of the day, it goes so quickly, try to grab some time just the 2 of you to take a moment and check in with one and other but also to take in the day and all the hard work that you’ve put in to get there!
Listen to your photographer/videographer and if they say let’s make the most of the “golden hour” then do it.
Don’t over think, things will probably go a bit wrong on the day, just let it go and enjoy the moment!
Pick your wedding team well, Titchwell, Floral Sista’s, Little Lending Co, Georgia & Mike were all amazing, and the reason why people kept asking us why we weren’t more stressed or nervous on the build-up!
I (Lindsay) was so incredibly nervous before walking down the aisle, however, when I saw David waiting for me at the end, I felt so much more relaxed and happier.
Does it get any more beautiful?! Oh my.
