An Intimate and Vibrant Wedding at Blanc Denver

“Afua and Kyle are two of the kindest, hard-working couples that I have photographed. They were so considerate of everyone, including vendors, at their wedding, and deserve the best. They originally met in 2012 while teaching in Boston through a program called City Year Boston. They both have a drive to make the world a better, more educated, and free place. They dated the year they were in Boston together, and then on and off after Afua moved to NYC to attend graduate school and Kyle stayed in Boston. Eventually, they both needed to put their education and careers first and they broke up. In 2015, Kyle moved to Denver. In 2018, they reconnected, and without a second thought, Afua moved to Denver to be with him. I love their love story because it is a great example of growing to love yourself and develop yourself as a person before committing to a lifelong partner. They gave each other space to grow into themselves, and their relationship is stronger because of it. During her vows, Afua said, “I’m so glad you’re marrying me because I’m obsessed with you.” Their attraction to each other is undeniable, and it was an honor to document their engagement and wedding!”
