Honestly – I could go on!!!
As a child who hit her teens in the 90’s, this shoot is oh so very nostalgic. I am in love with it. All of it! If ever there was inspiration to think outside of the box when it comes to your wedding then this is it. It is cool, it is innovative, it is bright and colourful and it has me dreaming of simpler days when Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet was playing at the cinema and No Doubt’s Don’t Speak on the radio!

The goal was to reinvent the most representative trends of that decade such as neon colors, graffiti,
skate and oversized garments in an eye-catching but elegant way. These are very striking and intense
elements that we wanted to refine and relax to design a different and inspiring wedding.
Different and inspiring it most certainly is. This shoot illustrates so beautifully that any theme can be translated into something unique and beautiful for your wedding – from the venue you choose to what you wear. You do you. Just let those creative juices run wild and have fun with it.

This editorial is a creative tribute to the wonderful 90’s as they are trending again in 2022 and are
more present in the fashion world than ever.
The whole team of suppliers belong to that generation, and we feel very identified with that fresh,
urban and colorful aesthetic. Friday (90’s) we are in love!
The goal was to reinvent the most representative trends of that decade such as neon colors, graffiti,
skate and oversized garments in an eye-catching but elegant way. These are very striking and intense
elements that we wanted to refine and relax to design a different and inspiring wedding.
To create this session, we were inspired by the fashion, music and cinema of the 90s, so you can see
many references to in the decoration, especially in the stationery and in the seating plan.
The overall design is based on the range of neon colors (pink, yellow and orange) that we used for all
corners of the decoration, flowers and the couple’s accessories.
For the celebration we chose a casual and bare space with a colorful aesthetic that transmits the
artistic and hooligan vibe we were looking for. A huge warehouse dedicated to skateboarding and full
of graffiti is the perfect setting to tell the story of this romance on wheels. Pair of lovefools!
We used the outdoor area for the ceremony creating an “altar” with the basket and the graffiti in the
purest Banksy style. It just needed a flower waterfall for this backdrop to emit this 90s essence.
For the banquet table we mounted a tabletop on concrete pieces to give it that industrial and cold
look. Simple white and gray elements let the color elements such as candles and flowers bring all the
warmth and shine. We used cassette tapes as placeholders and chose tableware with neon touches.
Nothing compares to it!
The seating plan was designed to match the graffiti that was behind. Methacrylate signs with fuchsia
vinyl decorated the concrete blocks with our favorite love songs of the time.
The bride’s look is fun, comfortable, and youthful. Inspired by a tailored suit jacket, it is composed of a
maxi blazer and a mini skirt. The jewel-buttons are the perfect detail to add a classy touch and elevate
the look. The tie creates contrast giving a masculine touch to such a romantic look. Underneath we
find a transparent shirt with fantasy sleeves and a fluorescent yellow tube top – such a 90s classic.
The shoes, veil, earrings and makeup break with the traditional bridal look and makes it suitable for a
more modern and daring bride.
The main garment of the groom’s attire is a Tetris print blazer, combined with a classic polo shirt and
sneakers for the perfect skater look.
In short, it is an attempt to refine the 90s streetstyle transforming it into the most exquisite and
refined part of a wedding – both romantic and fun.
